What is ASC?

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)  is a condition you are born with. It is a physical difference to the brain, meaning it works differently to most neurotypical brains. ASC often affects how a person socializes with others, and gives them a different experience of the world. People with ASC often have sensory issues, such as they may struggle to deal with unexpected loud noises. Some people with ASC sometimes struggle to understand how someone is feeling, by looking at their face, but this isn't all the time.

ASC is very often confused for a mental Illness. Many people today still classify it as a mental illness, but it is only this past decade where people have started to truly understand the condition and start to remove some of these labels.
